It was after Bears fired general manager Ryan Paice and head coach Matt Nagy on Monday following the 2021 6-11 campaign and joined Viking and Giants in 2022 trying to fill both positions. ..

Since that happened, Bears has already been busy either scheduling interviews with potential candidates or asking for permission to talk to them. So far, the list has been reported to include:
