Last week’s COVID-19 suspension did not infect Illinois in Minneapolis on Tuesday night. Irini was almost at the top of the table with a 23-point knock-off on host Minnesota, despite not playing for 13 days.
Whether last week’s regular schedule changes will make us ugly in the short turnaround against Maryland tonight. At least a point to note.
Showing little effect of layoffs is probably too mild to explain what Illinois went to Gophers two days ago. Minnesota chose to focus defensive attention on Irini’s archers and use Coffey Cockburn. The result was an explosive victory. Technically, a victory that undefeated Illinois in the Big Ten Ranking between Michigan State University and Ohio State University, who played four league games.
Maintaining a strong start to the Big Ten Conference is a goal for Terrapins, who is moving forward with interim coach Danny Manning tonight, but is currently in 13th place in the meeting after losing to Northwestern and Iowa. ..

Oh, there’s a half-time ceremony tonight as well. Ayo Dosunmu is honored when his jersey is raised on the rafters of the State Farm Center. Well, that’s what happens in the end. It will be placed in a more prominent (and visible) place when it is revealed before it joins the other 33 prestigious jerseys.
