Chicago — A shooting investigation closed the southbound lane of Interstate 55 on Wednesday morning.
According to preliminary information, Illinois State Police officers responded to a highway gunshot reported on South Pulaski Road at around 10:50 am. At around 11:48 am, the southbound lane of I55 near Damen was closed for investigation.
No further information is available at this time.
