Freeport, Illinois (WTVO) — An armed robbery occurred at a Super 8 motel in Freeport early Sunday morning.
According to Freeport police, the incident occurred at around 4:25 am at 1551 S. Sleezer Home Rd. It happened at a motel in. Three black male suspects, allegedly wearing black clothes and face masks, entered the lobby and one suspect beat the employee’s head with a pistol. The suspect escaped from the business after acquiring private property.
Victims were taken to a local hospital where they were treated and released with life-threatening injuries. A police detective is investigating the case.
