Springfield, Illinois (Wand)-A murder suspect was arrested in connection with the deaths of three people in Springfield in August 2021.

On August 9, 2021, a friend of the victim arrived at a residence in the 2500 block of S. 10th St. and found the victim. Responders came to the scene and confirmed the deaths of three people.

Victims were identified as 27-year-old Bryant K. Williams in Houston, Texas, 27-year-old Savant English in Springfield, and 25-year-old Key Elagant in Springfield.

On Wednesday, authorities announced that they had arrested 21-year-old Kelton Garmore and 33-year-old Joseph Hembro in the investigation. Hembro is held in Morgan County and will be transferred to Sangamon County. Meanwhile, Garmore will be held in Sangamon County after a Wednesday morning inquiry.

Both suspects face three charges of a single murder. If they are convicted, they face compulsory life imprisonment.

The deposit for both suspects is set at $ 5 million.
