Illinois (Wand)-Democrats in Illinois will approve a map of the new parliamentary district as the party fights to maintain control of the House of Representatives in 2022.

The map places US Congressman Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) in the same left-wing learning district that US Congressman Marie Newman (D-IL) served in her first semester. Kinzinger was one of ten Republicans who voted to impeach former President Donald Trump.
The district served by US Congressman Rodney Davis (R-IL) has been redrawn to include more Democratic-backed territories rather than his hometown. The district already has a Democratic challenger who was in power of President Joe Biden.
Davis issued a statement on Friday expressing strong opposition to the proposed map.
“As expected, our liar governor worked with state Democrats to portray a shameful party gerrymandering in a desperate attempt to maintain Nancy Pelosi’s power,” Davis said. ..
