Springfield, Illinois (Wand)-Coroner, Sangamon County, identified an individual who died from multiple gunshot wounds on Saturday night.
Coroners have identified the body of Demarius Burnside, 28, in Peoria, Illinois.
Burnside was sentenced to death at 9:48 pm in the emergency room at St. John’s Hospital on November 6, officials said.
Police said the shooting took place on Saturday at about 8:27 pm in a house in 1600 blocks on E. Morgan Avenue.
Death is under investigation by Sangamon County Coroner and Springfield Police.
