London (AP) — The British government announced on Monday that it would begin an independent investigation into how hospital electricians were able to sexually abuse at least 100 corpses in the hospital’s morgue.
David Fuller, 67, admitted last week that he had killed two women in 1987 and subsequently sexually assaulted them. “Employees have tragically found evidence of 100 victims,” Health Minister Sajid Javid told lawmakers while announcing an investigation into how Fuller was not found. rice field.

Fuller pleaed Thursday in 1987 for killing Wendy Nell, 25 and Caroline Pierce, in two separate attacks in the town of Tunbridge Wells. He worked as an electrician. The identified victims included three children under the age of 18 and children over the age of 85 between 2008 and November 2020.
He has been in the role of electrical maintenance since 1989, filming morgues in the currently closed Kent and Sussex Hospital and Tunbridge Wells Hospital in Pembury.

Javid said the study was divided into two parts, an interim report released earlier next year and a second final report examining the situation and broader lessons of the NHS’s broader nations.
“This is a terrible upset incident with tragic crimes within health services,” said Javid. “Victims are not only family and friends abused in this most horrifying way, but also those left behind.”
