In this movie, Sorkin chose to squeeze a series of true events in the life of an iconic married TV star into a week-long production. I love lucy — Monday’s table was read through the shooting of the audience on Friday. Those plot points include what was blamed when the ball was a communist. This is a crisis that could end the fast-growing career of pioneering couples other than Sitcom, including running their own Hollywood studios.
“There were these great friction points …” Sorkin talked about the structure of the story, which was developed with the help of producers Jenna Block and Todd Black. “There are three big events … they didn’t happen in the same week, but I got them up in the same week for our movie.”
Kidman talked about how she transformed into playing both Lucille of the person and Lucy of the character played by Ball, and explained how she found each voice with a conversation coach.And all four stars — Kidman, Bardem, Simmons, Arianda (the latter two are Lucy and Deci) I love lucy Co-stars William Frawley and Vivian Vance — shared the first time they felt they were suppressing their character. In most cases, as Bardem said, “magic happened” was only a few moments.
“I felt it when I wrapped it,” Bardem joked. “Now I understand it-maybe it was a little too late.”
The film was filmed for eight weeks during a pandemic, and the team recalled the first memorable table read-through on the roof of a parking lot with a mask on a windy day. They will also do their dance rehearsals there.
“Everyone shouted to hear our voice,” Sorkin recalled when he first read.
“These intimate scenes,” Bardem added with a laugh. “Screaming,’I love you very much!’ What?”
“‘Do you fool me? !!! Do you fool me? !!!” Kidman said with the jarring voice of the ball.
Amazon will open a photo in the theater on December 10th and bow with Prime Video 11 days later.
