The Salvation Army Announces 2022 Campaign “Love Beyond” | Top Story

(Wand)-The Salvation Army is releasing a new national campaign, Love Beyond, to encourage people to show love without discrimination.

Love Beyond was announced on Monday, February 14th, Valentine’s Day. This is a call and invitation to the community to join the Salvation Army, serve the suffering humanity, and show those who are hurting love above all else.

The campaign will be used all year round and will continue as a Christmas campaign.

“Valentine’s Day is the perfect time for the Salvation Army to release our Love Beyond campaign,” said Lieutenant Kenesa Devera, a corps officer of the Decatur Salvation Army. “While individuals around the world show love to their loved ones, we remind people that they have love for unloved, overlooked, and trampled people. Love Beyond is love beyond the difficult situations of life. Beyond the homeless. Beyond hunger. Beyond loss. “

“We are also here to listen to and give directions to those who find themselves unlovable and hopeless. All our programs and services are driven by love. Love for others and, of course, for God, “said Lieutenant Chanel Devera. “Love Beyond is a great reflection of who we are and what we are doing, and it’s about calling on others to get involved.”

“One surprising expense, such as car repairs and medical expenses, is the difference between being able to pay rent and utilities or buying groceries for family salaries to pay salaries. May mean, “said Lieutenant Kenesa Devera. “The Salvation Army is worried through urgent financial assistance to help keep people home, food and food boxes, and other programs that give people suffering the path of hope from crisis to long-term stability. And working to relieve the constant burden of stress. Our love extends far beyond the moment of service and provides a new path for progress. “

This Valentine’s Day encourages everyone to Love Beyond and to seek out new ways to serve and help those in need. You can join the Army of Love with a $ 25 per month lasting gift or contact the Salvation Army to find additional ways to donate, support, and volunteer.
