According to the New York Post, the legend of “The Wire,” who played Omar, was found dead in a Brooklyn apartment on suspicion of drug overdose.

He is also known for playing Choky White on the acclaimed Boardwalk Empire on the HBO series.

The Wire’s colleagues are passionate about social media.
