Baton Rouge, Louisiana (AP) — Art is being upgraded at the airport in the capital of Louisiana.
WBRZ-TV Report Baton Rouge Airport is a new collaboration with the Baton Rouge Gallery — Center for Contemporary Art, bringing the work of about 20 Louisiana-based artists into two concourses and a space formerly used as a smoker’s lounge. Will be exhibited.
The artwork is regularly rotated with art from the gallery roster of 70 visual artist members, including painters, printers, photographers and digital media artists.
The display of each piece contains information about the artist and a scannable code that allows travelers to find out or inquire about purchasing art.
